Animals and Shows

Explore the exciting world of marine animals in a way you’ve never experienced before during all-new animal presentations like the Orca Encounter, Dolphin Adventures show and the All-new Sea lion and Otter Spotlight. While you are there you will be able to enjoy a variety of one-of-a-kind animal experiences including, sea lion interactions, Flamingo close up, feeding dolphins, viewing killer whales, the Beluga and Pilot whale program and more.

Thrill & Family Rides

Emperor is the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in all of California, plunge 90 degrees and soar up to 60 miles per hour on the state's only floorless dive coaster; experience the heart-pounding thrills of Electric Eel, a multi-launch coaster with high-energy twists, electrifying loops and inversions; feel the thrill of this unique dueling roller coaster ride featuring high-speed turns and upside-down twists on Tidal Twister®; or Manta with its two thrilling launches that send riders soaring and diving in the spirit of world’s largest ray. Make a splash and cool off Shipwreck Rapids! For kid-friendly fun, families are invited to enjoy Tentacle Twirl, Sea Dragon Drop, Octarock and Aqua Scout.

Sesame Place San Diego

Sesame Place San Diego is the only theme park on the West Coast based entirely on the award-winning show, Sesame Street.

Family-Friendly Rides & Splashy Water Slides

We’ve got rides that everyone can enjoy together! From your child's first roller coaster to exciting water slides, there will be plenty of whirls, twirls, splishes and splashes to experience together. There is even an imaginary trip to outer space in an Elmo-themed rocket ship, the rides at Sesame Place are designed with everyone’s favorite furry friends in mind.

Important Information

• SeaWorld San Diego park address is 500 SeaWorld Drive, San Diego, CA 92109, near the intersection of Interstate 5 and Interstate 8. SeaWorld is located about 15 minutes north-west of downtown San Diego and San Diego International Airport (SAN).
• Sesame Place address is 2052 Entertainment Circle, Chula Vista, CA 91911.
• No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed to be brought into SeaWorld San Diego, except you may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle.
• SeaWorld San Diego: Children ages 2 and younger are free and do not require an admission ticket to visit SeaWorld San Diego.
• Sesame Place: Children 23 months and younger are free. All guests 2 years and older must purchase admission tickets or season passes to visit Sesame Place.
• Sesame Place does not provide towels and guests should plan to bring their own. Souvenir towels are also available for purchase in Hooper’s Store and Sesame Souvenirs.
• The Metropolitan Transit System offers daily bus service to SeaWorld from the Old Town Transit Center, via routes 8 and 9. The distance is approximately four miles with travel time of about fifteen minutes. Old Town Transit Center offers connections to Amtrak, Coaster and other bus services. • wheelchairs and strollers are available to rent or when you arrive at the park.
• Strollers are located inside the park at the rental shop near Guest Services. Guests must be 18 years or older to rent strollers. For safety reasons, all strollers must be parked outside of most exhibits and attractions. SeaWorld is not responsible for strollers or their content left unattended in the park.
