Discovery Cove is a tropical island paradise with a restricted capacity of about 1300 guests a day, so you’ll never get crowded out of the fun. You can step outside of traditional-style attractions and experience something truly unique. Set your own pace, racing through the park to hoard up the fun, or relaxing as you stroll through the site, taking in the sights, sounds and fun it has to offer.

Grand Reef

Surprises abound. Families can seek discoveries along the water’s edge or cross a bridge to see sharks swimming below. Play hide-and-seek with thousands of beautiful fish, from small colorful wrasses to velvety rays. Further out in the reef, stunning habitats create the feeling of swimming right alongside sharp-toothed reef sharks safely behind glass. You can even take paths and bridges to the reef’s islands and hidden grottos as they delve into the reef from above, around and below.

Freshwater Oasis

Freshwater Oasis®, featuring wading adventures and face-to-face encounters with playful otters and curious marmosets. Designed with a rainforest canopy above and sparkling-clear springs below, Freshwater Oasis® is a natural fit within Discovery Cove’s tropical vibe. You can relax and explore. You’ll wade, wander, and float in the water-filled trails. No matter where you turn, you’ll find endless discoveries.

Free-Flight Aviary

Just beyond a spectacular waterfall, you’ll find a series of towering Free-Flight Aviaries. Here, you can soak in all of the sights and sounds as you encounter hundreds of tropical birds nose-to-beak while they feed right out of your hand.

Wind-Away River

Ride the soothing currents of a tropical river as it winds past sandy beaches, through a dense rain forest, beneath the rocky terrain of cascading waterfalls, and through an underwater cave. Busch Gardens Tampa is a combination of animal encounters and a superb collection of white-knuckle thrill rides and caters to a whole variety of tastes and age groups.The park officially features 8 roller coasters and 2 water rides amongst other rides and animal attractions. Its newest roller coaster, Cobra’s Curse, was opened in June 2016.

Aquatica Water Park

Aquatica Orlando water park offers a combination of close-up animal encounters, flowing waters that range from the peaceful to the almost pulverising, high-speed thrills, and low-speed relaxation on expansive beaches. You’ll feel like someone picked up a little bit of Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea and nestled them together just for you to enjoy.

Experience Cutback Cove & Big Surf Shores – giant, side-by-side wave pools offering your choice of gentle swells or big surf. You can even ride the Dolphin Plunge, which hurtles you through transparent underwater tunnels amid a pod of stunning black and white Commerson’s Dolphins.
