The Beast is New York City's only jet-powered thrill ride attraction! Reach heart-pounding speeds while twisting, turning & skimming toward Lady Liberty. It’s like a rollercoaster in the water! 

The Beast has 1400 BHP horsepower with two ZF 3000 marine gears powered by twin Hamilton Jets, allowing the boat to rocket through the water at up to a heart-pounding 40 knots (about 45 mph)! 

• YOU’LL GET WET! - Not definitely, but it usually happens. So leave your laptop at home. 

• IT’S EXTREME! - We travel at high speeds and bounce around, so nobody who is pregnant, has heart conditions or back injuries should ride. 

• HOLD ON TO YOUR HAT! - Things like hats and sunglasses can fly away during the boat ride. 

• IT’S LOUD! - Twin jet engines, what do you expect? 

• 40″/102CM OR TALLER! - You have to be this tall to ride.

• NO LAPS! - Kids must be able to sit in their own seat without assistance.  

• SIT DOWN! …and buckle up. Passengers must be seated at all times!

• NO RAIN, ONLY SHINE! - The Beast does not go out when it’s raining. Check beforehand by calling our box office to confirm. 

This 30 minutes thrill ride departs from Pier 83 in Midtown and operates hourly. First ride of the day is at 11.00 and the last one is 18.00. It operates from 7 May to 25 September only and is closed every Monday. The ride isn’t wheelchair accessible and isn’t recommended for anyone who is pregnant. Children aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

You will be issued with a voucher that is valid for any date (valid for one year) and time. Please bring your voucher to the ticket window and exchange it for a boarding pass. Allow yourself 45 minutes for ample ticketing and boaarding time.
