Discovery Cove is a tropical island paradise with a restricted capacity of about 1300 guests a day, so you’ll never get crowded out of the fun. You can step outside of traditional-style attractions and experience something truly unique. Set your own pace, racing through the park to hoard up the fun, or relaxing as you stroll through the site, taking in the sights, sounds and fun it has to offer. 

Choose your favourite pleasure, or experience all of them in turn, either way you’ll have a wonderful time at Discovery Cove.

Grand Reef

This is an excellent experience for families, as each member can discover treasures of experience and wonder along the water’s edge. There is a bridge that crosses over sharks cruising through clear waters below. You can play hide-and-seek with thousands of colourful fish, including rays and wrasses, and even see the toothy grins of reef sharks up close and personal – behind safety glass of course!

The area is also criss-crossed with clear paths and quaint bridges, some of which lead to reef islands and hidden grottos. You can even walk down into the reefs from above, viewing them from the side – or even from below!

Freshwater Oasis

Freshwater Oasis® features freshwater creatures that are a world of fun to watch. Otters play and exude their usual cuteness, marmosets observe you even as you observe them. Wade into the waters to meet them on their own turf (so to speak).

The area is designed for beauty and a natural feel, with a rainforest canopy overhead and clear waters sparkling below.

Freshwater Oasis® is a great complement to Discovery Cove’s tropical adventures. You’re free to relax or explore, wade, wander, and float in the water-filled trails.

Free-Flight Aviary

Pass the stunning waterfall and step into beautiful world of free-flying birds. These towering, Free-Flight Aviaries are full of hundreds of tropical birds so used to human contact that they will feed right out of your hand. 

Wind-Away River

Little is as relaxing as riding the current down a river through a beautiful tropical landscape. The river winds past sandy beaches, through a dense rain forest, and then beneath the rocky terrain of cascading waterfalls – even through an underwater cave!

As is the case throughout the area, the waters are crystal-clear, revealing all manner of underwater wonders to inquisitive eyes.

Laguna Grill®

As part of the all-inclusive package, you can dine to your heart’s content at Laguna Grill® and never spare a thought for the cost. Attention can instead focus on your laid back continental breakfast, sumptuous buffet lunch, or even a light snack to stave off the nibbles.
